We warmly congratulate our Finnish stakeholder member, the Center for Cultural Policy Research – Cupore, on its 20th anniversary.
The Foundation for Cultural Policy Research was founded in 2002 on the initiative of the University of Jyväskylä and the Finnish Cultural Foundation. The Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture was one of the initiators behind the establishment of the foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to promote research, expertise and communication in the field. To implement its mandate the Foundation maintains the Center for Cultural Policy Research Cupore. The founding document of the foundation was signed on 21st January 2002.
Over the past 20 years, the research center has become a well-established player in the field of both national and international cultural policy research. The research centre’s activities have grown over the years: the number of staff, publications and projects, as well as the cooperation networks, facilities and awareness of the research center in the fields of culture and cultural policy, have developed significantly.
Cupore celebrates its birthday throughout the year 2022 by working.
