The Boekman Foundation recently released the Culture Monitor Annual Report 2021, which reviews trends and developments in the cultural sector in 2020 and 2021.
The monitor is an instrument created by and used by the Dutch cultural sector. It gathers data and insights on developments in cultural life and intends to contribute toward a strong cultural sector in the Netherlands.
The report consists of nine domain chapters providing key figures and developments for each cultural discipline or sector and four thematic chapters describing policy themes and topics of relevance for the entire cultural field.
The Boekman Foundation published a Dutch full profile and an English summary.
