Today marks the start of the 12th Federal Cultural Policy Congress on the topic of “Post-Polarisation? Shaping cultural policy narratives”, organised by Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft (KuPoGe) in collaboration with the Federal Agency for Civic Education in Berlin, Germany.
The congress aims to open up spaces for debate on the contribution of culture, cultural policy and cultural and political education to dealing with polarisation and on current narratives and future concepts that need to be reshaped. The aim is to create discourse and learning spaces for action-orientated strategies, practices of cooperation and their implementation – with actors from academic and artistic research, art and culture, cultural policy, cultural administration and cultural and political education. The congress is also attended by Claudia Roth, Minister of State for Culture and the Media of Germany and up to 400 interested people from various fields.
The Compendium is attending the congress and is interacting with various stakeholders, promoting the association and providing information about our work and the community.
