Session 3 (LEARN & DEVELOP)
“Cultural Policies as a Driver for Development within Society”
The third session of our International Cultural Policy Conference taking place on 26 September in Podgorica, Montenegro, centres around the importance that cultural policies hold in the development of societies at large. The final session emphasizes the importance of learning from one another to support diverse development, aiming to expand the viewpoints of the Compendium of Cultural Policies and Trends beyond Europe to include global perspectives.
We are proud to now present the following speakers and topics for Session 3:
- Anupama Sekhar (Strategic advisor for arts & culture policy | Board Member | UNESCO Expert)
- Milena Dragićević Šešić (Professor at the University of Arts, Belgrade, Compendium Expert for Serbia)
- Terje Birkrem Hovland (Chair of the Steering Committee for Culture, Heritage and Landscape (CDCPP) of the Council of Europe)
The session will be moderated by Ana Medigovic, Acting Director of the City Theatre and former Secretary for Culture of the Capital City Podgorica.
