Senior researcher and project coordinator
Rogier Brom is a senior researcher and project coordinator at the Boekman Foundation. He completed an international research master programme in art history at Utrecht University and holds an additional master’s degree in sociology from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. His main tasks include compiling and interpreting the data in the Arts Index Netherlands and initiating and executing pilot projects aiming to create data-driven insights and find new indicators on issues the cultural field does not have a clear view of yet, in order to be informed for policy choices. This happens in close contact with a wide variety of actors in the cultural domain, reaching form researchers to cultural professionals, and from consultancy firms to policy makers from different levels of government.
