Haykuhi Muradyan is a lecturer at the Department of Cultural Studies of the Yerevan State University where she teaches theory of cultural studies, cultural policy, new and modern Armenian culture, Applied Anthropology. She also teaches Cultural Genocide at the Institute of Armenian Studies. She has been involved in many academic research programs, and recently defended her PhD thesis on “Cultural Policy in Armenia: Soviet Heritage, National Resources and European Perspectives (the end of 20th century and the beginning of 21st)”. Her research interests are focused on applied anthropology, cultural policies and heritage management.
