Associate professor
Yulia Antonyan is an associate professor at the Department of Cultural Studies of the Yerevan State University where she teaches cultural anthropology, cultural history and anthropology of religion. Previously, she worked as a program officer for development projects in the public sphere at the Eurasia Foundation (1997-2005) and as an external evaluation expert for the Jinishian Foundation (2006-2007). She has been involved in many academic research programs, has published more than 40 papers on anthropology of religion and social structure. She is an active participant of public debates on culture, education, academy and environment.
