That is why we are currently working on making our country profiles available in each country's native language, in addition to the English version. As a platform for cultural policy exchange, the Compendium has always published its Cultural Policy Profiles in English, making them accessible to a broad audience. In the future, we would also like to publish the Cultural Policy Profiles in the native language of each country, thus further increasing accessibility. To do this, we use AI technology to enhance the translation process. Each translation is then proofread by the respective expert author. Luca Kristóf, PhD is a senior research fellow at the Centre for Social Sciences, Budapest. Her main research interests include elite studies,cultural policy, political sociology, cultural and sustainable consumption, and social stratification and integration. Her monograph on the Hungarian cultural elite, published in 2021, won the Polányi Prize of the Hungarian Sociological Society. We are delighted to officially announce that our International Cultural Policy Conference will take place in Podgorica, Montenegro, on 26-27 September this year and will be hosted by the University “Mediterranean” Podgorica. The title is "Cultural Policies. Developments. Perspectives" and represents a triangle of interconnections. Last Friday it has been announced by Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO, that MONDIACULT will be held in Barcelona, Spain, during the second semester of 2025. MONDIACULT stands as a significant gathering where the 194 member states of UNESCO collaborate to shape the international cultural agenda.
