Oleksandr Butsenko is the director of the Development Centre ''Democracy through Culture'', counsellor of the direction of the Institute for Cultural Research at the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, consultant of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy, member of the European Cultural Parliament, UNESCO global facilitator on intangible cultural heritage and an independent expert on cultural policies issues.
Christoph Weckerle is Director of the Zurich Centre for Creative Economies (ZCCE) at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). His cultural policy research focuses on the intersection of art / design and economy / policy / society. He is a member of the Executive Board of ELIA (European League of Institutes of the Arts) and he is member of the Advisory Board "Education and Discourses" at Goethe Institut. He was awarded the Swiss Design Prize for his research on the creative economies.
Professor Professor of Cultural Policy and Cultural Organization at University of South-Eastern Norway. With a background in political science, history of religion and culture studies, Harding started doing research on the development of Swedish cultural policy. Later, he studied and published several articles and books on the roles of identity and organization in cultural policy, as well as on the relationships between democratic civil society organizations and their members, and between civil society organizations and the government.
